Dog Dancing (Heelwork to Music & Freestyle)

Dancing with dogs (known as heelwork to music) is a relatively recent activity where dog handlers make up a series of moves set to music, and perform the moves with their dog. Competition heelwork to music is divided into two categories, Heelwork to Music and Freestyle. Heelwork to Music originated from the set exercises forming the heelwork component of competitive Obedience, with a musical backing. The introduction of Freestyle routines added a greater variety of moves.
